“I can confidently say that Jay Becker and his team are the best Agents in San Diego by a long shot. I worked with Jay on my first home purchase in 2013 and again just recently when we bought our 2nd home in San Diego. In 2013 we purchased a townhome in Crown Point San Diego that Jay said was a very wise investment and that turned out to be true as property value has increased 30% since we purchased. I knew absolutely nothing about buying a property but Jay makes it easy and will educate you along the way. Just recently Jay guided us through our 2nd home purchase in the “Burbs” Of Rancho Penasquitos … He played an instrumental role in helping my wife and I come out on top and a very sought after home that had over 10 competing offers on it. The thing that stands out with Jay right away is his experience level. Jay knows the entire San Diego Market like the back of his hand. He may tell you he specializes in coastal properties but we wanted to buy a home in Rancho Penasquitos and Jay came through all the same. He brought us properties that hadn’t even hit the market yet so that we could better understand the bang for your buck in “PQ”… but he has been through every possible scenario that can come up in a home purchase or sale and he handles them all with grace and Class. Jay will never make a decision for you but he will give you all the info you need and help you understand how to make the best decision for what you want. Zero pressure. I came to Jay 3 other times over the last 5 years when we were thinking of making another purchase and each time we decided at the last stage to back out because for whatever reason the timing wasn’t right. “We met Jay at one of his listings when we were only casually looking. That house wasn’t right but Jay’s enthusiasm for the area turned us into serious buyers while his experience, knowledge and low-pressure style convinced us he was the right fit for our agent. Jay immediately confirmed our decision with his insightful assessment of the list of houses we had identified. He listened to and observed our reactions during showings to come up with additional properties. He even took notes on each property, so that he could help us remember things about the different houses. When we were a little stuck, Jay proactively searched out under construction properties and listings not yet on the market. Throughout the search process we found his advice invaluable and directed at finding a house to meet our needs foremost. He was very patient, never pressured us and was always responsive. Once we found the right house, he went to work to make it ours. Jay advised us on the offer and then successfully negotiated to get it for less than what we would have paid. Jay was just as attentive after contract acceptance as he was during the search. There were some repairs needed that many sellers would not have done, but Jay got them to do everything we asked for. When we had a reluctant title officer, he called someone he knew to walk the property and make us feel completely comfortable. He continued to check on repair progress up to the final walk-through.
